Folio uses 1080 by 1080 pixels for square posts, and can also prepare a 1080 by 1350 portrait or a 1200 by 628 wide image.

Why does Folio need an app password?

An app password lets Folio post for you without your main password. You can revoke it in Bluesky's settings at any time.

Should I use hashtags on Bluesky?

Sparingly. Folio turns hashtags off for Bluesky by default, and you can switch them on for any post, up to 8.

What is the best time to post on Bluesky?

New plans start on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 12:00. On the Studio plan, Folio suggests better times once 20 of your posts have been measured.

Can Folio learn from my past Bluesky posts?

Yes. Once your account is connected, Folio can import your recent posts and learn your voice from them.
