Up to 2,200 characters. Folio writes to fit and ends the caption at a full sentence, so it is never cut off mid-word.
What size should an Instagram post be?
Folio uses 1080 by 1080 pixels for square posts and 1080 by 1350 pixels for 4:5 portrait posts.
How many hashtags should I use on Instagram?
Instagram allows up to 30. Folio turns hashtags on for Instagram and keeps them to a modest share of the caption, so your words still come first.
Can I put a link in an Instagram caption?
You can, but it cannot be clicked. Folio leaves links out of Instagram captions and keeps them on the channels where they work.
What is the best time to post on Instagram?
New plans start on Monday at 11:00, Wednesday at 19:00, and Friday at 11:00. On the Studio plan, Folio suggests better times once 20 of your posts have been measured.
Which Instagram accounts work with Folio?
Instagram professional accounts linked to a Facebook Page. Personal accounts cannot be connected.
Can Folio learn from my past Instagram posts?
